Waiver Wire Gems
If the injury bug has hit you hard and you need to hit the wire for an emergency situation, these players should help you make i through to the championship game.

Matt Forte went down during the week 14 matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, and although he is listed as day-to-day, the self described ‘cracking and popping’ he heard in his knee doesn’t bode well for his chances to suit up this Saturday against the Miami Dolphins. Powell filled in quite well for the injured Forte, rushing for 145 yards on 29 carries and a pair of scores. If you have any questions in the running back department Powell is a must add.
Kenneth Farrow– Running Back- San Diego Chargers:

You may not know much about Kenneth Farrow, but he will be getting the lion’s share of carries this Sunday against the Oakland Raiders. With a matchup against the 26th ranked run defense, Farrow is worth taking a flyer on for a weekly spot start if you are in a pinch.
Robby Anderson– Wide Receiver- New York Jets- Another Jet on this list? Absolutely. With the Jets handing the reigns to young gunslinger Bryce Petty, essentially for an audition for a starting job next season, Anderson as emerged as Petty’s favorite target and deep threat. This is a boom or bust player, but in the last three games Petty has appeared in Anderson has caught 13 balls for 229 yards and a touchdown. With 29 targets in those three games, those numbers could go up with Petty settling in to the spotlight.
Marqise Lee– Wide Receiver- Jacksonville Jaguars- With all the disappointment in Jacksonville this season, Lee has emerged as a bright spot. Originally drafted to be the number one receiver, injuries and the emergence of Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns buried him to third on the depth chart. As of late. he has emerged as one of Blake Bortles favorite targets, and hasn’t seen less than six targets since week eight against Tennessee. If you’re in a tight spot, Lee is an option, although his matchup isn’t favorable against the Houston Texans’ 5th ranked passing defense.
Strong chance Adrian Peterson will be back next week for championship week, pick him up if you have the room and need.
