NFL Playoffs Preview: Wildcard Weekend

The quest to Super Bowl LI begins this Saturday as Wildcard Weekend kicks off at 4:35

        • Saturday, January 7th (5) Oakland Raiders (12-4) vs. (4) Houston Texans (9-7)
        • Saturday January 7th (6) Detroit Lions (9-7) vs. (3) Seattle Seahawks (10-5-1)
        • Sunday January 8th (6) Miami Dolphins (10-6) vs. (3) Pittsburgh Steelers (11-5)
        • Sunday January 8th (5) New York Giants (11-5) vs, (4) Green Bay Packers (10-6)

With the arrival of 2017 also comes the beginning of one of the most exciting times of the year, the NFL playoffs. This year’s version of the post-season figures to be exciting as half of the cast were not participants in last year’s festivities. There were also six new division winners this year, as the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans were the only repeat winners.

Five of the 12 teams in this year’s postseason are no strangers to hardware recently. The New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers have combined for eight of the last Vince Lombardi trophies. The Dallas Cowboys, Packers Steelers and Giants are top four n terms of playoff appearances and were all invited to the playoffs this season.
