Tampa Bay wide receiver Mike Evans had an incident with a female photographer on Sunday afternoon.
While most of the action was on the field on Sunday afternoon, a local Buffalo-area reporter found herself in the action, on the sideline.
Jenna Cottrell was all smiles, showing off her sense of humor just one day after being tackled by Bucs receiver Mike Evans. She even went into some of her recent personal affairs.
She had a front-row seat to the fourth-quarter touchdown catch.
Check out the toughness!
Can confirm she is OK. @JennaCottrell the boss. @NFLonFOX pic.twitter.com/BnK1DyhCMB

Mike Evans and cancer can only knock me down temporarily. Although, I wouldn’t recommend either lol https://t.co/riLmRAVIl8

On August 15, 2017 Cottrell announced that she was cancer free.
Cancer?! This woman has no fear.
Local-affiliate, and aptly named 13WHAM, was happy to have her back in the newsroom on Monday.
She’s back in the newsroom.

Her co-workers weren’t the only ones happy to see her in good health. Evans took a minute to apologize and admire her toughness.
Glad you’re ok. My apologies Jenna #Toughness https://t.co/bFpHxvGGxl

It’s great to see Evans reach out. It’s even better to see that Cottrell was not hurt during the play. More than anything, it’s nice to see her share her experiences and talk about her battle with cancer. It’s almost appropriate that this happened. After all, she is an inspiration to so many that suffer through the incurable decease.
