Paul Heyman explains Brock’s plan. A Monster gets revenge. Lucha House Party has a plan.

Another Paul Heyman special.

Brock Lesnar with Heyman in tow open the show. Lesnar rocks the MITB case like a boom box and Heyman does what Heyman does best. The advocate squashes smark conspiracy theories and state that was always planned. After building up the reason why Brock holds the case, Seth Rollins walks in. Rollins calls out Brock for not wrestling and Paul said why do you think that Brock wants your title. Kofi walks out as a Wild Card and states the same as Rollins. Heyman then not only makes a Seth Rollin’s girlfriend joke, but let’s the WWE Universe that both WWE champions are auditioning to fight Brock. Classic Heyman, the Advocate informs both star that they are not done tonight and Brock will be waiting.

Braun Strowman vs Sami Zayn… sort of. Strowman wins via Powerslam pin fall.

In a squash match, Sami Zayn desperately to avoid this match, but to no avail it begins. Sami runs backstage and hides as the Monster looks for him. Bobby Lashley distracts Braun long enough form Sami to sucker punch him. That was all, Braun chases Sami to the ring and hits a Running Powerbomb for the pin fall.

The Freak ends the House Party

Lars Sullivan is interviewed in ring, just about he is about to speak Lucha House Party arrive. The House Party seeks to avenge their beating from MITB. However, after almost taking the Freak off his feet, Lar destroys them again. Another head scratcher  considering Lars past. But WWE seem to want to push this guy for some reason.

Pride vs Anger. Another McMahon promo. A real match.

Cesaro vs Ricochet. Cesaro wins via Neutralizer pin fall.

After a promo backstage with Cesaro telling Ricochet that he deserves to be injured. Ricochet issues a challenge and Cesaro accepts. Cesaro opens to a new intro, it’s going to take time for me to accept since Sheamus may be retiring soon.

Cesaro takes control of the match hitting hard strikes and holds. Ricochet musters slight offense and even an outstanding counter. Cesaro goes to pop-up Ricochet for a slam, but Ricochet stands on his shoulders and flips put. Mind you, Ricochet is not a small Lucha type wrestler and this shows Cesaro’s power. The Swiss Superman finally hits the Neutralizer for the pin fall.

The Revival vs The Usos. The Revial win via roll up pin fall.

The first and probably the on;y proper wrestling match tonight featured some of the top teams. Jimmy Uso received most of the beating from the Revival, with the former champs hitting great tag moves after the other. Jey finally gets the hot tag and the Usos take it to the Revival. However, just as Jimmy goes to back drop Dash, Dawson pushes Jimmy to the turnbuckle in mid move and rolls up Jimmy for the pin fall.

Becky takes thing in to her own hands. Shane ends his feud with Miz

A moment of Bliss, then a match.

Alexa Bliss makes Nikki Cross her co-host tonight and tricks her in to getting coffee. After the heel trio of the IIconics and Lacey Evan berating on Becky. The Man issues a challenge angainst the trio. The heels tells that Lynch’s math is off, so Becky takes Nikki a tag mate. The math is still off, so Lynch grabs Alxea. The Goddes states she is not ready for this, Becky tell her just to look pretty and grab her coffee. That is what is Alexa does, sipping her coffee at ringside, classic Alexa.

The match started with Becky taking it to the IIconics, then Nikki Cross gets her spot. The heels, make due foe what they are given, with Evans walking out and then Becky gets the hot tag. Becky ends the match with a Leg Drop on Billie Kay for the pin fall.

Drew McIntyre vs The Miz. Drew wins via Claymore Kick pin fall.

This was just a filler for, I am not sure. The two put on a decent match with back and forth action. However, the Best in the World feels need to be involved. Shane McMahon distracts Miz allowing Drew to hit a Claymore Kick and pin fall. After the match, Shane that he willing to give Miz a parting gift. McMahon sets up the Coasr to Coast, but Roman Reigns comes in for the save.

WWE ‘s newest title. Brock Lesnar’s answer to Seth and Kofi.

A Call back to the Attitude Era with new WWE title.

Mick Foley arrives to introduce the newest WWE title. After many vague references to loved and hated Hardcore title, Foley unveils the new title, to a chorus of boos. The newest WWE title is… The 24/7 Championship Title! Yeah… will not not use the Hardcore name for a title. Foley explains that not only this title is defended at all times, but is open to ANY weight class, ANY brand. Meaning it is open to 205 Live, NXT, NXT UK, Raw, SDL. I missed the part the title being open to the ladies, but I’m sure WWE will shoehorn that in.

The scramble to be champion begins with a slew of under used stars run for the belt. Titus O’Neil becomes the 1st champion being literally tossing Drake Maverick in the atmosphere and claiming the title. While walking up to the ramp in celebration, Robert Roode (moustache and all) blindsides Titus and gets the pin fall.

Becoming the new 24/7 champ. What ensues is Roode being super paranoid as the locker room chases him. Roode trying to find a way out trust the only one you can trust, R-Truth. The beloved WWE treasure hides Roode in a car trunk and tells the stars that Robert ran “that way”. Roode thanks Truth open the car door. But there is a ref waiting. R-Truth slams Roode’s head on the car and claims the title. Bless R-Truth, he is truly a WWE treasure.

Kofi Kingston/Seth Rollins vs Baron Corbin/Bobby Lashley. Kofi wins via Trouble In Paradise pin fall.

This main event was nothing but an at the end of the show filler. Baron and Bobby attack Kofi and Seth relentlessly. Rollins is knock out of action, leaving the Lion Heart Kofi to take on the brutes. Kofi receives a beating, but Slayer arrives in time to help. Leaving Kofi to face off against Bobby Lashley. Kofi fight his out and hits the Trouble In Paradise on Baron Corbin for the pin fall. Shortly afterwards, Brock Lesnar makes his way to the ring and teases a cash in. The advocate laughs and states that Lesnar will make an announcement nest week.

Spinning Wheels again.

Yup, that is how WWE wants to start a new chapter after a big PPV, by spinning it’s wheels. We have seen Brock tease his announcements. We have seen non organic feuds start, We have seen team up that made no sense, but still happened. It’s wash, rinse, repeat. Now, for the most part Pro Wrestling has been this. However, the way present day WWE is doing, with how repeatedly the same unchanged story arc is displayed is concerning. With new competition around the corner, that boast the best Indie stars on their roster, WWE needs to change and stay ahead of them… or else.
