The final list of contenders for both Elimination Chambers is almost set. Along with a match announced, that could have WrestleMania implications. Is this the last chance for Jason Jordan and Seth Rollins? A three-way match that gives the winner an Elimination Chamber advantage.
Cold Open. Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns.
The final list of contenders for the Elimination Chamber starts. Bray Wyatt opens the show with promo. It was filled with mind games in stating that Roman Reigns is a failure. Cut to Roman, as he does his usual promo. The match begins. This goes as the way you would think. Bray playing mind games and Roman looking strong. It’s something we’ve over and over again. So to be short. Roman spears, Roman wins. *yawn*

Balor Club= Over.
The Balor Club enter the ring in believing that Finn Balor will be in a singles match. WWE Raw’s newest whipping boys, The Revival have other thoughts. In a groan inducing, ring side promo. The Rival states that they are a pure tag team and do everything together. They tell Finn to pick a partner for The Club. Now it’s Finn and Karl Anderson vs The Revival. This was another sub par match. With The Balor Club never looking in danger of losing. Finn gets the pin after a Coup De’ Grace.

Drake Maverick’s 205 Live.
Now that Rockstar Spud is … I mean, Drake Maverick is 205 Lives’ new GM. Things seem to be getting better with their presentation on Raw. But this match of Cedric Alexander/Mustafa Ali vs Tony Nese/Drew Gulak, felt like another exhibition match. Cedric hits a very nice Lumbar on Gulak to get the win.

Women’s Elimination Chamber set.
Kurt Angle comes out and finalizes the list of contenders for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. It will be Bayley, Mandy Rose, Mickie James, Sonya DeVille, and Sasha Banks. Alexa Bliss will defend her Championship in the match. Now you might be asking yourself, no Nia Jax? No… She will have a match vs Asuka at the Elimination Chamber PPV. If Nia Jax wins, she will be added to the WrestleMania championship match.

The Empress vs The Hugger.
After a quick segment between frenemies Bayley and Sasha. Asuka The Empress of tomorrow face off against Bayley. Asuka does what Asuka does. Bringing punishing strikes to Bayley. This almost looks to be a squash match. But then Bayley finds her footing and delivers a hurricanrana to Asuka through the ropes. Just as Bayley seems to have the upper hand, Asuka strikes back. Asuka lands a flurry of hard strikes again. Bayley counters Asuka while she was attempting a top rope dropkick. Bayley delivers a fierce knee to Askua. This starts off a counter fest. With both ladies going at it a quick pace. Bayley almost gets a pin. Alas, The Empress cinched in an arm bar and Bayley taps. After the match, Asuka offers Bayley a handshake for almost winning. Bayley accepts the handshake.

Elimination Chamber qualifying match. The Miz vs Apollo Crews.
Every time I see The Miz in a match. The more I respect his ability to make his opponents look good. His latest work is Apollo Crews. Now don’t get me wrong, Apollo Crews exudes talent. However, never seem to have a main roster match against someone who helps display it. Enter The Miz. While The Miz wins the match, in Miz fashion. Apollo Crews looked pretty good

Jason Jordan done? Tag Team Title Match.
Before the match between Jason Jordan/Seth Rollins vs The Bar begins. Jordan tells Seth he hurt his neck. The WWE doctors will not clear him. Leaving Seth without a partner. Until Roman Reigns shows up. Now the Bar will have to face off against Shield brothers, Seth and Roman. The Bar starts with isolating Seth with tag moves. Then Seth and Roman return the favor. The match pretty much follows this formula. Jason Jordan comes down to the ring for moral support. Even helping Seth when Cesaro hits an eye poke. The Bar frustrated, take their titles and begin to leave. Jordan cuts them off and Cesaro throws a punch. Jordan defending himself, lands a punch first. This forces the ref to disqualify Seth and Roman. The Bar retain their titles. This actually sets up for Jordan dealing with a real life neck injury and have him return as a heel.

Triple Threat match. Braun Strowman vs John Cena vs Elias.
The winner of this match will enter the Elimination Chamber last. This is huge advantage. The Drifter Elias starts things off with a song, of course. It took awhile, but Elias has really won the crowd over. Cena interrupts. Then The Monster Among Men enters. Braun easily takes out Cena and Elias. Both men come to the conclusion that they must work together. That is what they did. Ramming the Monster into ring posts and steel steps. Cena picks up a steel step and hits Braun with it. Elias smashes his guitar over Braun’s head and Cena hits an AA on Braun over the steel steps. Did I mention that this was a no disqualification match? No? It’s because I didn’t know either. Anyways, Cena and Elias go at it with Braun out. The Monster recovers and power slams Cena. He goes to do the same to Elias, but Elias counters. Getting Braun out of the ring and PINNING Cena! Whaaaaaa?! So now Elias will be the last man entering the Elimination Chamber. Braun starts to… well, what Braun does best. Power slamming Cena and Elias to hell. The crowd is really enjoying this. Even to the point of begging for more power slams.
The path is almost set.
With almost all of the spots for the Elimination Chamber set. The PPV path is almost set. There is only one more spot in the men’s Chamber left. It will be filled after a fatal four-way match between the losers. Bray Wyatt, Matt Hardy, Apollo Crew, and Finn Balor. Guess who is the favorite to win that match? Tonight’s show just played it safe. Aside the slight Elias winning swerve. Nia Jax got a squash match. Why? Also, they seem to under sell the Asuka vs Bayley match. Those two ladies had great matches in NXT. Why not now? Either way, the Elimination Chamber looks to be intriguing. Will it be as historic as the Royal Rumble? Let us know.
