Charlotte Flair mocks Lynch. A triple threat women’s tag team match. The McMiz Show.
Flair taunts any Lynch fan.
Charlotte opens the show and goes straight heel mode. Mocking the chants for the again suspended Becky Lynch. Flair states that Becky knows that Charlotte is the backbone and Mr Vince McMahon made the best move, for business. Also the main event of Wrestlemania shouldn’t be held by a “flash in the pan”. Then she tells the crowwd to shut their mouth.
Triple Threat Women’s Tag Team match. Naomi/Carmaella win via Split leg Moonsault for pinfall.
A triple threat women’s tag team match, to determine the first team to lose will be the first team to be entered in the Elimination Chamber. The teams are Naomi/Carmella vs IIconics vs Fire and Desire ( Mandy Rose/Sonya DeVille).
The match started off between Carmella vs Rose, Mandy quickly tags Sonya and Deville takes it to Carmella. The Stanton Island Princess flips out of DeVilles headlock toss and taunts Rose. This leads to Naomi to enter and go after Rose. After the exchange, The IIconics still are stand by, while Carmella/Naomi and Rose/DeVille go at it. Rose turns in some decent offense, but always scramble to tag Sonya when it gets tough. Eventually, Naomi and Rose get a hot tag. Naomi takes it to Rose and pins her. Afterwards the non used IIconics attack Carmelle /Naomi to end the match.
The McMiz Show.
The Miz and Shane McMahon walk out. They start off the McMiz show on promoting the both members tv appearances. The Usos comedically questions their tag team abilties, and The Best Tag Team In The World retort with their own answers. Albeit, answers from Miz. Things escalate Shane mentions Mandy Rose. The Usos take to heart and a Super Kick to both Shane and Miz.
The main event… Kofi Kingston.
Gauntlet match between Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Randy Orton. The winner will be the last entrant in the Elimination Chamber. Randy Orton wins via RKO pinfall.
Kofi Kignston, the new legend.
After a Daniel Bryan Hempyweight rant, The New Day enter to replace the injured Mustafa Ali. Each member tease being the one, until the team decide it is Kofi Kingston that will replace Ali. Bryan and Kofi lock up. The two exchange moves after the break, with Kofi gaining control after a big shoulder block. A test of strength follows, with Bryan taking control of the match. A back and forth follows between the two, with Bryan coming out on top. Daniel rolls out to take breath, gets back in and hits big knees on Kofi. Kingston, then flips out of multiple backflip attempts and tosses Bryan outside.
After another break, SDL shows that Bryan slams Kofi in the steele steps. Bryan gains control and hits a big dropkick. Kofi fights back, but Bryan puts Kofi over the ropes and hits a double knee from the top ropes, on Kofi’s neck. Two Count on Kofi! Bryan goes for a top rope body splash, but Kofi rolls away. Kingston fight his way, but Bryan puts Kofi in the Willows Tree, and follows it up with knee strikes.
After another two count, Bryan puts Kofi on the top rope and hits an inside out suplex. However, Kofi lands on Daniel’s head. Both struggle to their feet and exchange offense. Kofi comes out on top, goes for the body splash, and Bryan catches Kofi in mid air. Daniel then slams Kofi and locks in an armbar.
Kofi gets out of the hold, but is met with strikes from Bryan and a LaBelle Lock. Kingston then breaks the hold by getting to the ropes and rolls outside.
Kofi will not give up.
Daniel Bryan then hits Kofi with a running knee from the apron. Kofi now in the ring, Bryan climbs the top rope and attempts another body splash. Kofi, now aware hits Daniel in mid air with a dropkick. Rowan interrupts the match and The New Day attack Rowan, only to get ejected from the mach. Daniels tries to take advantage of this, but Kofi fights him off. This makes Rowan to interfere again, this time he is ejected. Bryan goes for a running knee, but is hit by Kofi’s Trouble In Paradise for the pinfall.
Enter Jeff Hardy.
Kofi started off in control, but Hardy regains quickly. Jeff hits a number of shots, but misses on a sling shot dropkick. Even with Kofi fighting back, Jeff is control of most of the match. Until Jeff is hit by Kofi’s Crossbody, but is countered by Jeff. Kofi then goes for Trouble In Paradise, again Jeff Hardy counters, only to be hit by Kofi’s SOS foa pinfall.
Enter Samoa Joe.
The Somoan Submission machine just punishes an exhausted Kofi Kignston. Now Kofi has been fighting for over 30 mins. Joe hits a demonic Enzuigiri on Kofi. After submissions and vicious strikes, Kofi finds a way to toss out Joe, and hit him with a dive. Both men roll back in before the count, with Joe turning Kofi inside out. Joe eventually locks in the Coquina Clutch, and Kofi starts to fade away. Until Kofi counters the Clutch and pins Joe!! Samoa Joe then attacks Kofi after the match, putting Kofi to sleep.
Enter AJ Styles.
The Phenomenal One pleads with Kofi to just give up. Styles tell Kofi he has done enough, but Kofi is not hearing it and smacks AJ. Styles then reluctantly takes it to Kofi. An exhausted Kofi attempts to fight back, and even fights back on AJ. Alas, Styles rolls up Kofi in the Calf Crusher to tap out the warrior we know know as Kofi Kingston after fighting for over 60 mins. As The New Day come back to help their fallen brother, Randy Orton hits AJ Styles with an RKO and pins Styles for the win.
Next Stop the Elimination Chamber.
This was a great showcase of Kofi Kingston’s ability to carry a match and maybe headline a PPV in the future. The rumors of Big E being the one to get the push, may have taken a back seat. With all that said and done, The Elimination Chamber seems to be a nice PPV that the WWE needs to take attention away from other promotions.
