STATS YOU SHOULD KNOW:

  • Rays have hit 210 HR this season already breaking the 199 club record set back in 2009. On pace for 225 and are currently first team since 2006 Braves and Reds to hit at least 210 and have a losing record.
  • Rays Brad Miller and Evan Longoria are third pair of teammates with 30 or more HR a piece, joining Longo and Carlos Pena (2009) and Fred McGriff and Jose Canseco (1999).
  • Rays are 30-31 since their historic slump of 3-24 from June 16-July 16.
  • Rays own the record for most HR off the Yankees in a single season…ALL-TIME…with 36 in 2016. Most since Blue Jays hit 33 off the New York pitching staff back in 2010.
