Rays begin their 11th spring at Charlotte Sports Park as pitchers and catchers report February 13th.
The schedule features 33 official Grapefruit League games, including 16 home s at Charlotte Sports Park and one home game at Tropicana Field. The Rays open the Grapefruit League schedule at Charlotte Sports Park on Friday, February 22nd against the Philadelphia Phillies. The schedule is subject to change, and game times will be announced at a later date.
The first full-squad workout is scheduled for Monday, February 18.
Horns Up!
In addition to the Grapefruit League slate, the Rays will host the University of South Florida baseball team on Tuesday, March 5th. It will be the second time the two squads have hooked up. The only other time was way back on March 1, 2000.
Rays helping Braves
The Rays will head to North Port on March 24th to help the Atlanta Braves open their new spring training facility. It will become their full-time home in 2020.
Spring training games will conclude with an exhibition against the Detroit Tigers at Tropicana Field on Tuesday, March 26th.
