The first defensive player to make the list is considered by many to be the best corner and number 21 to ever play the game. ‘Primetime’ as he was nicknamed, was much more than just an excellent corner with 53 career interceptions, as he was also an All-Pro returner, scoring nine touchdowns on returns over the course of his career.
Although Deion Sanders got his start in Atlanta, he won two Super Bowl’s with other teams, one with the San Francisco 49ers and another with the Dallas Cowboys. Sanders was named to an astonishing nine all-pro teams, and was the recipient of both the Defensive Player of the Year and Special Teams Player of the Year awards during his career. Deion also gained notoriety for his showboating skills, which were second to none. Scoring a total of 22 touchdowns over the course of his career as a special teams and defensive player Sanders had plenty of opportunity to show boat and earn his nicknames.

Neon Deion(another nickname) played for five teams during his Hall of Fame career( Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens were the others). Football wasn’t all for Deion as he also played nine seasons of professional baseball that included a World Series appearance with the Atlanta Braves.
