Today the NHL All Star Game rosters were announced, and four Tampa Bay Lightning players will be busy over All Star weekend.
Tampa Bay – Last week Steven Stamkos was elected to his 5th NHL All Star game (1st time as the team captain), today three of his teammates will join him on home ice as the mid-season event invades Amalie Arena January 27th and 28th.

Nikita Kucherov and Victor Hedman will both skate in their second All Star games. NHL leading goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy will play in his first ever. Jon Cooper was also named to the Atlantic Division team as the Head Coach, his first time behind the bench.
Kucherov currently leads the NHL in Points (60) and is tied with Alexander Ovechkin of the Washington Capitals in goals with 27. Hedman leads the NHl in +/- with a +24 and Andrei Vasilevskiy has the league lead in wins (27) and shutouts (6).
