The 2019 NFL season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will start off against a familiar former player, a fan favorite at that.
The NFL released its 2019 regular season schedule the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will start off the campaign against the San Francisco 49ers, the team that signed away linebacker Kwon Alexander, on September 8th at Raymond James Stadium. Alexander signed a 4-year, $54-million dollar deal over the off-season with the 49ers after spending his first four seasons in Tampa Bay.
Tampa Bay, which went 5-11 last season, has a very tough first half of the schedule as they follow up the San Francisco game on a short week into Thursday Night Football and go on the road to face the Carolina Panthers on September 12th. Following the Panthers game, the Buccaneers will face the New York Giants at home and then go seven weeks basically on the road before returning to play another actual home game when they face Bruce Arians’ old team, the Arizona Cardinals, on November 10th.
